OnTrend News: All About PG Bison’s East African Partnership

Did you know that PG Bison South Africa is a 50-50 partner in PG Bison (Kenya) Ltd, a joint venture that has been operating successfully with local Kenyan investors for 16 years?

PG Bison Kenya was established in September 2002 and specialises in the supply of decorative wood-based panel products such as particleboard and medium-density fibreboard (MDF) to the construction and furniture sector in East Africa. It has branches in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kampala, and exports into Rwanda and Ethiopia.

Its ranges consist of particleboard, MDF, MDF backers and MelaWood SupaGloss. These are primarily used for the manufacture of cabinets for residential use such as kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms and lounge furniture, and for commercial applications such as office furniture, partitions and cubicles. An extensive range of edging is available under their Flexline brand in 0.4mm and 1.0mm.

PG Bison Kenya also provides added value by preparing components in a knock-down format for quick self-assembly. Kenya’s first ready-to-assemble flat pack kitchen solution is available in a wide variety of modules to choose from to create any style of kitchen for an individual or project.

PG Bison Kenya also offers a convenient supply solution of related fittings to enable its clients to source all their raw material. Fittings such as screws, runners, hinges, handles, connectors, cabinet legs, sliding systems, locks and storage systems are available under its Kinetic brand.

We’ll be telling you more about this exciting venture and its successes in forthcoming issues of On Trend, PG Bison’s inspirational online magazine.
