As we close off 2025, a year of strong performance and significant milestones for PG Bison, I would like to sincerely thank you for your loyalty, support and trust. Your partnership has been central to our success and to the momentum we are seeing across all the markets we serve.
Over the past year, we have experienced unprecedented demand for our new product range, driven by the demand creation activities we have been investing in together with you, our customers. Our focus has been clear: to ensure that your investment in PG Bison stock is actively pulled through the market, supporting healthy stock turns and the returns you expect as a PG Bison stockist.
One of the standout achievements this year has been the successful launch of our Gallery 5 (G5) range. The response from the market has been exceptional, making this the most successful product launch in PG Bison’s history. This is a direct result of our collaborative approach, from product development through to in-market activation, and we are deeply grateful for the role you have played in this success.
We are equally pleased with the performance of our new SupaWood (MDF) line in Mkhondo. The market has welcomed the availability of a reliable, locally manufactured alternative to the previously imported product. This investment has not only strengthened supply security but has also enabled us to enter and support additional markets that we were previously unable to serve due to substrate constraints. It is opening new doors for us all and will continue to benefit our customers and the wider industry for many years to come.
Looking ahead, our growth and investment plans remain firmly focused on supporting your business. In FY26, we plan to increase our value-added capacity at our Boksburg plant, introducing a new-to-market range that supports the strong shift towards higher-value products. Once again, PG Bison will be localising products that were historically imported, and we will also be bringing a product range to market that has never before been manufactured in Africa. This is our response to the increased demand we are seeing and our commitment to providing you with a consistent, uninterrupted supply.
We also plan to expand our value-added capacity in Ugie in the new year, to support the growing demand for our product range and the expanding markets we are serving.
Looking further ahead, in FY27, we look forward to commissioning our new Melamine Faced Board (MFB) line at our Mkhondo facility. This expansion is not only about increased capacity; it reflects our commitment to innovation, quality and reliability, ensuring we continue to meet evolving customer needs and positively impact your business, the market and the broader economy.
