Denic Cabinets launches first kitchen showroom
Denic Cabinets is a a full-service kitchen design firm that offers a diverse selection of high-quality cabinetry, including custom designs, has opened its first kitchen showroom in Wynberg.
The boards for the stylish show kitchen were sponsored by PG Bison, and include popular SupaMatt finishes and colours, such as Caldera, Super Black and Astana.
Dipuo Phakathi, founder and CEO of Denic Cabinets (profiled here), previously specialised in spray painting her cabinetry for her customers. However, since Dipuo was introduced to the PG Bison range in 2020 by the Enterprise Development team, she has scaled down the spray painting, focusing rather on the installation-ready PG Bison boards.
Dipuo says that the showroom is one of her greatest achievements and demonstrates her business’s growth. “The showroom assists customers in terms of idea development through the display of a variety of quality materials and hardware,” she says. “Customers are able to observe the different kinds of kitchen styles available, varying from modern to traditional, and the range of finishings offered to achieve a quality product.”
PG Bison’s National Enterprise Development Manager, Thabile Dikobe says, “Dipuo from Denic Cabinets found that with spray painting cabinetries in-house, her production and installation processes were time consuming. By using PG Bison’s MelaWood, SupaMatt and SupaGloss boards she is able to ensure a much quicker turnaround time.”
Thabile adds that Denic Cabinets now uses PG Bison boards for 90% of its jobs, with spray painting accounting for only 10%.
“When we proposed to Dipuo that she take part in Decorex, she took the opportunity with both hands. We assisted her with product in order for her to put up a fantastic display from which she was able to generate good leads,” says Thabile.
