Jada’s Board Hyper Showroom Launch

PG Bison believes that supporting our clients is important, not only in building long-term relationships with them, but in helping them to serve their own customers better – the end-users of our products. This is why our team gets involved with events like the opening of the completely refreshed showroom at Jada’s Board Hyper in Johannesburg.

Zubair Gathoo, owner of Jada’s Board Hyper, started the company in 2012. “The name Jada’s has a long history in Kliptown, Soweto, where Jada’s Hardware has been in business for more than 100 years,” he says. “We wanted to build on that credibility, but whereas Jada’s Hardware focuses on every kind of building material, we specialise in cabinetry.”

“It’s taken us five months to complete this renovation, but we feel it better serves our customers,” he says. “We want carpenters and contractors to feel like this is their showroom. They can bring their own clients here to show them samples and discuss possibilities.”

Showroom Launch

The new showroom includes a customer coffee corner and aims to be a one-stop shop, offering everything from boards to hinges and fasteners, handles and cabinetry accessories. “We try to create a warm atmosphere where customers feel welcome and know they can get a turnkey solution,” says Zubair.

He says he is thankful for PG Bison’s support of the launch, which took place from 11 to 13 June. “They have done a lot for us and been phenomenal in supporting our launch,” says Zubair. “We hope this translates into good business for us, and therefore for them. Our dream is not just to be a volume-based business, but to capture a niche market by being known for the quality we deliver. We are also always open to feedback from our customers, so if there is any way we can improve what we’re doing, we’d like them to talk to us.”
